*No longer are specific awards given to single frame exhibits at FIP shows – only numeric scores. I have unofficially assigned the three winners medals by their scores.
Not included above is the Prix d’Honneur won by Gary Steele for “1937-1938 Canadian Definitive Issue” at the APS StampShow.
The total number of awards was up considerably from 56 in 2012 (lowest total on record). We had 84 awards in 2011 and 90 in 2010, same as above.
Member exhibits help to promote BNA philately. It is too bad we are seeing fewer at the national level. I have scant data on local/regional shows and perhaps activity is more stable there.
