James Jung and Richard P. Thompson have taken over the editorial reins of the Pence-Cents Era Study Group newsletter from Ron Majors. They published their first issue in November. Ron continues to chair the Study Group.

The original Palmares did not report that Brian Stalker had become a member of the Order of the Beaver. This was done since the medal was presented to Brian at the CPS of GB meeting that was held in Carlisle this week.

The BNAPS Dixie Beavers Regional Group is undergoing a rejuvenation under the chairmanship of John Burnett. The Group met at CHARPEX in Charlotte, North Carolina, on 25 July 2015.

There is a new and much less expensive way to get from Pearson Airport to Niagara Falls for the BNAPEX convention. The Union-Pearson (UP) Express Train travels between Pearson and Union Station downtown. From Union Station you take the GO system to Niagara Falls. This involves a GO train to Burlington, and a connected GO bus from Burlington to Niagara Falls. UP trains leave every 15 minutes. GO Trains and buses leave about every 30 minutes. One way per person from Pearson to Niagara Falls will be around $50Cdn. In Niagara Falls a taxi will take you to the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

Vic Willson, Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced that Dave Bartlet will be the new Vice-President Regional Groups. He replaces Jack Forbes, Jr. who resigned in 2014. Dave was BNAPS Webmaster from 2012 to 2014 and continues to work on the website as part of the web team. He is also an active member of the Calgary Regional Group.

Henk Burgers passed away on 25 May 2015. Henk specialized in Canadian Military Mail. He put together two award winning Military Mail exhibits, and wrote several articles on the subject.

The new edition includes numerous reports of new early and late dates and train numbers not previously reported or confirmed. The known proof and order dates of individual hammers have been added, and there are many more postmark illustrations. The Newfoundland & Labrador postmarks will be published in a separate book later this year. Despite this, the new RPO catalogue has 368 pages, compared to 316 previously!
