Theme of the convention

“The Philatelic History of Kingston from 1673 to the Present Day”

BNAPEX explores this theme with a non-competitive Court of Honour exhibit. All BNAPS members are invited to participate by contributing exhibit pages that show Kingston material. The exhibit pages can show anything related to Kingston - stamps commemorating subjects connected to Kingston, covers to or from Kingston, advertising and special event covers, etc. Click on the images to view sample exhibit pages.

• Contributions of one or two or three pages are encouraged. You don't have to prepare a 16-page frame.
• Don't submit your original pages. High quality colour electronic or paper copies are fine.
• Deadline for submissions is 1 July. Earlier submission is appreciated.

Anniversaries noted

BNAPEX 2024 will mark the following anniversaries with special covers and postmarks:

• 351st anniversary of Count Frontenac meeting the Haudenosaunee at the future site of Kingston
• 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF)
• 100th anniversary of the first Canadian semi-official airmail stamp

Important dates

• 30 April - Last day for initial acceptance period for requesting exhibit frames
• 23 June - Last day for subsequent acceptance period for requesting exhibit frames
•   1 July - Last day for submission to the "Philatelic History of Kingston" exhibit in the Court of Honour
• 21 July - Last day for booking a room at the St. Lawrence College Residence
•   8 Aug - Sunday Awards Banquet registration extended to 8 Aug.
• 12 Aug - Last day to register for the Friday cruise with buffet dinner
• 22 Aug - Exhibit mounting and bourse set-up
• 23 Aug - Last day to register for "Rider-only" cruise (cash bar and guided narrated tour but no dinner)
• 23 Aug - Exhibition opens: bourse and seminars
• 25 Aug - BNAPS Past-Presidents' Reception & Awards Banquet

Registration

Access to the exhibition and dealer bourse is free. If stamp collecting interests you, you are encouraged to view the exhibits, talk to fellow attendees, and visit the dealers.

You must register to attend Friday's dinner cruise on the St. Lawrence River and Sunday's awards banquet. Click REGISTRATION at left to register and pay.
