By car - from the east

• 2 hour drive from Ottawa (#417 to 416 to 401 to Sir John A. Macdonald Blvd.)
• 3 to 3.5 hour drive from Montreal airport (Quebec #20 then Ontario #401 to Sir John A. Macdonald Blvd.)

By car - from the west

• 2.5 hour drive from Toronto (#401 to exit 613 to Sydenham Road/Kingston #9 to Portsmouth Ave.)
  (estimated toll on #407 completely across Greater Toronto about C$53)
  (note traffic on #401 through Toronto can be tough)

By car - from New York

• 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Watertown NY (to #137 to 401W to Sir John A. Macdonald Blvd.)
• 4 hour drive from Buffalo on #401 or (#401 + 407)

By train

VIA Rail has service to Kingston from Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto and other points along the Quebec-Windsor corridor. The Kingston station is about 10 minutes by car to the St. Lawrence College campus.

By bus

megabus and FlixBus serve Kingston from many locations including Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.

By air

The major airlines do not serve Kingston. The nearest major airport is the Toronto Pearson Airport.

To go from the airport to Kingston by rail, take the Union Pearson Express (UP Express) train to Union Station in downtown Toronto (train leaves every 15 minutes; journey is 25 minutes). At Union Station, take the VIA Rail train to Kingston.

To go from the airport to Kingston by bus, megabus has pick-up locations at the airport:

• Terminal 1 on the Ground level at Post P5
• Terminal 3 at Post C8

Route to the Residence

Enter the Residence area and Residence parking lot at the southwest corner of the campus, at the first driveway from the south end (King Street West). The entrance from Portsmouth Ave. serves only the main St. Lawrence College campus.
