By air

The major airlines do not serve Vernon. The nearest major airport is the Kelowna International Airport, about 40 km south of Vernon (a 30 minute drive). Major airlines that service Kelowna include Air Canada, Flair, Porter, and WestJet.

The convention committee is arranging convenient group transportation between the Kelowna airport and Vernon. Transportation costs will be on a cost recovery basis, estimated at $30 to $35 per person, one-way.

To plan the group transportation, the convention committee needs the following information for your arrival and departure flights:

• Airline
• Flight number
• Arrival date and time
• Number of passengers

If you would like to take advantage of group transportation, please provide your arrival and departure flight information on the BNAPEX registration form. If you haven't yet made flight reservations when you fill out the form, you can update the form later on, after you do make your reservations.

All the major car rental companies have an outlet at the Kelowna airport.

By car

The drive between Vernon and several major centres is given below:

• Vancouver: 5 hour drive; about 450 km
• Calgary: 6 hour drive; about 550 km
• Edmonton: 9 hour drive; about 850 km
