CAPEX 22 will also feature a literature competition, encompassing both print and digital media. CAPEX 22 will be hosted by the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC), and will be held under the patronage of FederaciĆ³n lnteramericana de Filatelia (FIAF) and the recognition of the Federation Internationale de Philatelie (FIP). It will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. |
What it isIn February 2021, the BNAPS Board of Directors approved a Matching Funds Donation Program for CAPEX 22 allowing BNAPS to take a major partnership role in this first international philatelic show in Canada in more than 25 years. In simple terms, the Matching Funds Donation Program will effectively double BNAPS member donations with a 100% match up to $10,000. How it worksIf you elect to donate $100 to help CAPEX 22, BNAPS will match your contribution so the total to CAPEX 22 is $200. The campaign will run until 28 February 2022 or until a total of $10,000 of member contributions is reached, effectively providing $20,000 for CAPEX 22. Tax receipts will be provided for donations of $25 or more by Canadian and U.S. members. BNAPS CAPEX 22 PartnershipIn the event the campaign does not reach its maximum member donation, BNAPS will still guarantee a total contribution of $10,000 to become a CAPEX 22 Partner, the highest level of sponsorship, enabling BNAPS to participate in high-visibility events and programs. Some of the events that will take place include a seminar room named BNAPS Room, BNAPS seminars, presentations and book launches, a BNAPS Society booth and meeting place right in the middle of the exhibit-dealer bourse main hallway, Palmares sponsorship, a BNAPS-sponsored rest and conversation area, youth program and copromotional activities with CAPEX 22 via social media, press releases, direct marketing and so on. The presence of BNAPS at this event will be all encompassing, and hopefully will generate increasing interest in Canadian/BNA philately. And it will serve to fulfill our mission as a non-profit organization by giving back to the hobby we all love. |
