Between 9-12 June 2022, Canada was home to CAPEX 22, an International philatelic exhibition, Canada's first since 1996. All 400 exhibit frames were devoted to one frame exhibits. CAPEX 22 is the first International One Frame exhibition, and the largest showing of one frame exhibits at a single exhibition. CAPEX 22 also featured a literature competition, encompassing both print and digital media. CAPEX 22 was hosted by the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC), and was held under the patronage of Federación lnteramericana de Filatelia (FIAF) and the recognition of the Federation Internationale de Philatelie (FIP). It was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. BNAPS was a CAPEX 22 Partner-Level Sponsor. It also provided a matching funds donation program for BNAPS members that made monetary contributions towards the success of CAPEX 22. |
BNAPS hosted a members-only reception on Thursday, 9 June, the first evening of CAPEX 22. It took place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, just after the close of the exhibition on Thursday. The venue was the Pint Public House, 277 Front St. West, adjacent to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Members who hadn't seen each other face-to-face for the last two years of COVID got together and shared refreshments and hors d’oeuvres in a relaxed setting. In attendance were 150 guests, the maximum that the pub could accommodate.
BNAPS hosted a series of presentations during the exhibition. In addition, several BNAPS study groups held meetings. The meetings are listed below.
