One of the benefits of membership in BNAPS - some say the greatest benefit - is the opportunity to meet fellow members and share the hobby with them. The major annual event is the convention - BNAPEX. There, members:

• ►  Conduct the formal business of the Society
• ►  Enter competitive exhibits
• ►  Enjoy the diverse array of exhibits on display
• ►  Attend study group seminars
• ►  Browse the busy bourse
• ►  Take part in local tours and social events
• ►  Assemble for the BNAPS Annual General Meeting
• ►  Socialize with friends met through membership in BNAPS

At the main banquet, the Society recognizes the volunteer efforts of members, and exhibitors are awarded their medals. The Society also honours its hardest working and most distinguished members as Fellows of BNAPS through appointment to the "Order of the Beaver". Appointments are not made every year.

Under "Previous BNAPEXes" below, you can browse through memories and mementos - awards, photos, and programs - of bygone conventions. The very first BNAPEX was at Hotel Statler in Buffalo, NY, 16-18 Sept. 1949. A cover promoting this convention popped up on eBay in 2013, 64 years after the event.
